Siemens Gamesa's 11-MW prototype beats Danish output record

This last weekend, Siemens Gamesa broke the output record for a wind turbine on Danish soil when its SG 11.0-193 DD prototype generated 266 MWh in 24 hours. Already next year, that achievement stands to be superseded when the OEM installs the prototype of its new monster machine, the SG 14-22, at Danish wind testing center Østerild Klitplanteage.
