DFDS plans to introduce a new Oslo ferry powered solely by electricity produced from hydrogen rather than traditional bunker oil.

The new hydrogen ferry is expected – if all goes according to plan – to be launched in 2027 and will have a carrying capacity of 1,800 passengers and 120 trucks or 380 cars.
