A proposal by Norway's energy and environmental committee based on the government's wind energy report wants tougher taxation on Norwegian wind energy.

"Stortinget [Norwegian parliament, -ed.] requests that the government consider changes to wind energy taxation, including an assessment of how to appropriately carry them out as well as a timetable showing how to increase the tax burden for wind energy generators," reads a joint proposal by the governing Labour Party and Progress Party, as reported by Europower.
